This is BioGuard's newest,
most powerful stain remover. It removes metal and mineral stains including
copper, iron, and manganese from all pool surfaces.

Directions For Use:
Stain removal is a multi-step process, which will require several
days to complete. Stain Remover is most effective at removing and
preventing the reoccurrence of stains when used with Pool Magnet Plus and
Sparkle Up filter aid. DO NOT USE STAIN REMOVER ON ACRYLIC SPA
SURFACES. DO NOT ALLOW SWIMMING IN THE POOL DURING THIS PROCESS.

1. Adjust balance of pool water
to the following: pH 7.0-7.4, total alkalinity 125 - 150 ppm; calcium
hardness less than 400 ppm. |

2. Adjust chlorine or bromine
residual to less than 1.0 ppm. Use Chem-Out if neccessary to
reduce the residual of chlorine or bromine. FOR THE NEXT 36 HOURS,
the quantity of sanitizer added should be reduced to maintain a chlorine
or bromine residual of less than 1.0 ppm. |

3. Determine the appropriate
dosage for your pool volume and stain condition: |

4.
Determine the appropriate dosage of Pool Magnet Plus for your pool
volume. The application rate is 1 quart per 10,000 gallons. |

5.
Wearing gloves and safety glasses/goggles, predissolve Stain Remover by
adding this product to water in a clean plastic pail. Always add
product to water. Never add water to the product. Use
approximately 4 gallons of water for each pound of this product.
Use a plastic or wooden utensil to stir the mixture. |

6. With
the circulation pump running, pour the mixture into pool water around
the edges of the pool. |
|
7.
Allow the pool water to circulate for 1 hour. Then apply the
proper dosage of Pool Magnet Plus per label directions. |
|
8.
Allow pool water to circulate for 4 to 8 hours. |
|
9.
Apply Sparkle Up to filter per label directions and your filter type and
size. |
|
10.
Continue to circulate the pool for an additional 24 hours. |
|
11.
Remove Sparkle Up from filter by backwashing or removing grids or
cartridge. |
|
12.
Test pool water and adjust water balance items and sanitizer to the
following: pH 7.4-7.6; total alkalinity 125-150 ppm; chlorine or bromine
to residual specified on your sanitizer product. |
DO NOT APPLY A SHOCK PRODUCT
TO THE POOL WATER FOR 4 DAYS FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF STEP 12
