Local Animal Shelters to Benefit from Dog Days of Summer Promotion

dog days

Arvidson Pools & Spas is hosting the 5th Annual Dog Days of Summer promotion in August to raise funds for several local animal rescue/shelter organizations. We are so excited to share our love of animals with you.

Let’s look at how local animal shelter benefit from our Dog Days of Summer Promotion.

Helping Local Shelters

Each location is partnering with a local shelter:

Fifth Anniversary of Partnership

“This is the 5th anniversary of our partnership with area animal shelters,” said Retail Division Manager, Nadine Nuzzo.  “A large percentage of our customers own cats and dogs and we’ve wanted to give back to a cause that is meaningful to them.  This program has raised nearly $6,000 to these shelters over the years,” she said.

Pet Adoption Events

Pet adoption events are Saturday, August 24, from 12-3pm, at our hot tub stores in Crystal Lake and Palatine and Sunday, August 25, from 12-3pm, at our hot tub store in St. Charles.  Interested in adopting a dog? We hope to see you! You’re sure to meet some adorable options.  Free pet treats are provided!

Donation to Shelters

In addition to pet adoptions, Arvidson’s is donating $50 for every hot tub sold during the month of August to our shelter/rescue partners.  If you are an animal lover and are also ready to improve your life with the healthy benefits of warm water therapy, this is the month to buy!

Each hot tub store has a Raffle Basket on display filled with an array of dog supplies, treats, etc.  Tickets are $1 for 1 ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, and $10 for 15 tickets.  We will donate proceeds from the raffle ticket sales to the shelters and draw a winner on Tuesday, September 3.

Coupon for You

Another way we are raising funds for the shelters is through a coupon that allows customers to donate 10% of all purchases made using this coupon to the shelters.  Hot tubs, saunas, pools, and service work are excluded from this offer.

“We expect that the combination of these offers will result in a significant contribution to our local animal shelters/rescues.  Come out and help us make a difference for all of our four-legged friends this month,” Nuzzo said.
